Why single-hung

The window that protects most Florida homes.

Single-hung is the style you see across South Florida for good reason: fewer moving parts mean a tighter seal, simpler operation and the strongest value in whole-home impact packages. The bottom sash slides up for ventilation; the fixed top sash keeps the frame rigid against wind load. And because ours come straight from our family's V&V factory, you skip the dealer markup entirely.

Beyond the storm rating, laminated impact glass quietly upgrades everyday life: outside noise drops noticeably, 99% of UV stays out of your furniture and floors, opportunistic break-ins meet a glass sandwich that refuses to give way, and insurance wind-mitigation credits work in your favor at renewal time.

Technical data

Series 100 single hung: what the NOA certifies.

Every single-hung we install is the V&V Series 100, tested for the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. These are the limits Miami-Dade Product Control approved it to. Every opening is checked against these limits at the free measure; where a wall needs more than the guaranteed rating, we specify the upgraded glass and anchoring the approval allows.

Yes. Laminated impact glass in a hurricane-rated frame with a Miami-Dade NOA for high-velocity hurricane zones — no shutters or plywood needed.

Noticeably. The laminated sandwich that stops debris also dampens traffic and aircraft noise — usually the first thing homeowners mention after install.
